Opportunity Overview (Engage Page)

Feature overview

The Engage page provides a comprehensive workspace for working on a specific sales opportunity. When you navigate to an opportunity from the opportunity list, Intersight opens the Engage page and displays the opportunity name and key details at the top. The Engage page consolidates information and tools you need to move the deal forward: a high‑level overview of the opportunity, an activity history, AI‑generated documents, guidance tips and risk assessments. You can collapse or expand panels to tailor the layout and quickly switch between different views such as cards or tables.

Description

Opportunity details panel

Shows high‑level attributes of the deal. The Overview panel includes the deal stage, amount, target close date and lead source. Additional fields such as account, owner, industry and location may also be shown depending on the opportunity data.

Activity history

A chronologically ordered list of recent activities related to the deal. Each entry displays the activity type (call, email, meeting, task, note), a human‑readable message (e.g., “Call at Jan 04, 2025” for a call), the activity title and a contextual description such as “Call to John Doe”. Users can preview the full activity content in a pop‑over and expand it to full screen.

Tabs and views

The Engage page can display information in different views. A tab bar allows switching between OverviewAI DocumentsRisks and Guidance sections. In the Overview section, you can toggle between card and table views for listings such as similar opportunities or activity history.

Risk count indicator

A badge in the Risks tab shows the number of active risks associated with the opportunity. When a risk is mitigated or reactivated, the count is automatically updated.

Using the Engage page

  1. Open an opportunity. From the opportunities list or home dashboard, click an opportunity title to open its Engage page.
  2. Review the overview panel. At the top of the page you’ll see the stage (e.g.,QualifiedProposal), the total amount of the opportunity displayed using your standard currency format, the target close date, and the lead source. Additional details such as account name, owner, industry and location appear beneath the overview.
  3. Navigate between sections. Use the tab bar to switch between:
    • Overview- provides opportunity details, similar opportunities, activity history and an overview of key metrics.
    • AI Documents- stores AI‑generated documents or meeting notes for this opportunity.
    • Risks- lists identified deal risks (see the Deal Risks documentation). A red badge indicates the number of active risks.
    • Guidance- offers tailored playbook guidance and best practices drawn from similar deals.
  4. Examine activity history. Scroll down to the Activity History section. Recent calls, emails, tasks and meetings are listed with dates and short descriptions. Click the eye icon to preview the full text of an activity. Use the expand button to make the preview full screen.
  5. Collapse/expand panels. Click the collapse icon to hide the overview panel or activity history section; click again to expand it. This helps you focus on the content that matters most.
  6. Monitor risk count. The risk count badge in the Risks tab updates automatically when you mitigate or reactivate a risk. This provides a quick indicator of outstanding risks without leaving the Engage page.

By leveraging the Engage page, you can quickly access key opportunity information, review past interactions and navigate to related tools without losing context.
